About Us
Gongoni Company Limited was founded by Mr. Francois A. Akle in 1981 in Nigeria to develop both domestic and foreign markets for high quality aerosols and other consumer products.
We are present in a number of markets including pest control and anti-malaria fight, home care and personal care.
Gongoni’s manufacturing plant is situated on a twelve hectares site in Kano, the capital of Kano state and is also the second largest economic centre of the country after Lagos. It is an ideal location within which to deliver South West Nigeria, West and East Africa.
To be even closer to you, our Sales & Marketing Office is located on Simpson Street in the heart of Lagos Island.
Our production plant is vertically integrated and equipped to handle various stages in production, from the chemical formulation to product packaging. Gongoni manufactures semi-finished products from raw materials to the finished products.
Our facilities offer various production lines such as canning line for metal cans for aerosols, filling lines for aerosols and liquids, powder filling lines etc. contributing to the manufacture of the final product.

Rambo Magic Paper
Launch of Rambo Magic Paper, the first paper insecticide, a new innovative concept by manufacturing the same in house from its new site in Bompai, Kano through its division – Kano Paper (KP).

Gongoni aquired WJ Bush & Co. (NIG) Ltd. located in Kano (Bompai) that specializes in the production of cosmetics & perfumes.
2004
New Headquarters
The late Emir of Kano inaugurated the new administrative headquarters on the main site of the factory in Sharada.
