Created in 1920 at the request of 14 tribal chiefs of Sudan, imagined by the British adventurer Eric Ernest Burgess, consultant of the company WJ Bush & Co., the famous perfume Bint el-Sudan is now 100 years old and continues to grow. It is the best-selling perfume in the world. The story said tribal chiefs handed the English chemist a bunch of African herbs and asked him to make for them an alcohol-free perfume more suited to Muslims. Thus was born the legend Bint el-Sudan.
